That 5-leg component is an IC, more likely to be switch mode power supply IC. What is the make and model of this product? What is this product? Pictures will help a lot.

Pmp3000 got hit by lightning 1 leg of the ic2

Th TOP221P chip is available but I can almost guarantee you have other damage as well. I assume it is pin 5 that burned. D7 and C16 would certainly be destroyed. IF IT IS ANY OTHER pin, you will find many other parts destroyed. D7 is a common 1N4007 and C16 is 4.7mfd/450VDC. Remember to carve out any burned baord material as it is conductive.

For the chip you can procure it here:

I need to replace a compact refrigerator defrost timer. No part number on the timer (not serviceable according to Frigidaire). I have a match that is the same specs except 30 minutes instead of 7...

The numbers are legs to various components on the ice box a common leg a hot leg a compressor leg and a defrost heater leg. The leg off to itself is the hot leg L1 the common leg is tucked between the defrost leg and the compressor leg, as you turn the timer by manually advancing it you will notice a big difference between the 8 hour run sequence of the compressor leg and the 21 minute run cycle of the defrost leg, so it is easy to figure out which is which. A generic timer will come with extra connectors so that you can connect it to the same basic pattern as your old one.
The most common timer has the old 2143 pattern.
