Heating pad CAT93 Controller model SW114 will not reset after shutting off automatically. When plugged in red light just blinks!
I have a Sunbeam heating pad with the SW204 controller that the High light blinks when it is plugged in. I called Sunbeam and the first thing they said is it cannot be plugged into a surge protector. Next, to reset it unplug it from the wall, then unplug the controller from the heating pad. Wait 30 seconds, then plug the controller back into the heating pad and then into the wall. It did the trick. However, when I move it to the bedroom plug it does the same blinking. Sunbeam is sending me a replacement heating pad. They appear to be very good with Customer Service since it is more than a year old.
My Sunbeat CAT93 Heating pad all of a sudden displayed "F!" on the "control pad". I followed the advice of "scorp_ca" -- it worked perfectly !!
Just unplug the pad, then, while holding down the "left" side of the rocker switch on the controller (at 9 o'clock), plug it in. (For me) It instantly "reset" to its normal display
Thanks, scorp !
I have done the following with the 811 type heating pad which had the same problem.
Push the controller button and keep it pressed, and plug in the heating pad. It seems to have somehow recycled it...
Hard to think how they could mess up on something as simple as a heating pad. You plug it in it should work. Its not rocket science. But now i'm stuck with a very upset stomach at 330 in the morning and no heat to remedy it because this heating pad isn't working. Maybe sunbeam should start making something less complicated than heating pads. Perhaps Macaroni pictures or hats made out of newspaper.
COME ON!! Macaroni pictures and newspaper hats? Stop being sarcastic and get real wouldja! Everybody knows popsicle stick frisbees are the only true way to deal with something like this!!
Have the same problem. I have contacted Sunbeam support via email and they are very friendly and helpful so far. I will post when resolved.
Just received an email from Sunbeam, they are sending me a new replacement pad.
Just send them an email with all your purchase information.

Had the same problem and the solution offered by scorp_ca worked for me as well. Thanks.
I'm going to give the scorp_ca remedy a try although I have unplugged it and it works after being plugged in. The only thing different is I didn't hold the control down. My heating pad keeps have F1 and now it had F2. I don't even know what that's suppose to mean!

I have the same problem with my 92B heating pad controller -- the red light just blinks and I can't figure out how to reset it. Sunbeam's website offers no US customer support phone number ... HELP PLEASE! Dennis
same problem with sunbeam cat93 sw114 light goes from warm instantly to high, doesn't heat
Sunbeam CAT93 heating pad with SW114 controller gets very hot then shuts off after about 10 minutes and won't reset until completely cool.
The red light just blinks when i plug the CAT93 pad in with a sw114 controller.
The Sunbeam heating pad will not reset. On high after a few minutes the red light on high won't let me shut the unit off or switch to another setting. Also when the red light blinks the unit shuts off and this is not the 2 hour shut off light
