If the drum is loose it probably means that the bearings at the rear.....OR...The arms that connect the drum to the pulley shaft have broken.....Major job....Sorry.....Nomess

While pressing the "Spin Speed" and "Soil Level" buttons simultaneously, press the "Start/Pause" button twice. Does the drum spin slowly?
If not, it could mean that the stator assembly of the motor is faulty or that the main PWB board may be faulty.

NO ERROR CODE BUT WILL NOT SPIN WITH USUAL SPEED NOR SPIN OUT WATER-CLOTHES ARE WET, DRIPPING WET OFTEN. WHAT IS CAUSE OR BROKEN?

Well it could be clogged. I that case machine should be open at the bottom and take down the hose that connects to drum.

Here there are multiple problems it is probably electronics. Unless you find some cheap replacement that machine is gone.

My miele wt945s takes in some water after final spin so clothes at bottom of the drum end up wet. Can I stop this happening

There is a problem with the programming of the control board if this is occurring.

All you can do is turn off the water to the machine at the end of the full cycle and then run the spin cycle again to dry out the clothes. Then no water can enter the wash drum.

Otherwise you would need to turn off the water each time before the spin cycle concluded and thus before the machine began adding water again.

Washer won't shift into spin

with a lot of the machines now they wont go into spin mode if the drum is not balanced properly, like say you had a load of towels in their, well it wont spin as its to unstable to spin without wobbling around so it simply stops at the spin cycle and does nothing, you can try this by turning it on with no clothes in and see if it will go into the spin cycle with no clothes in, if it does then chances are its not weighing the clothes properly and would end up costing a fortune to put right as it sounds like you spent a lot of money on parts all ready, so give i a try with no clothes in and see if it will spin, have you tried turning the drum by hand when its switched off to check for any grinding noises or jerking when you try to turn it by hand, im not sure how the balance sensor works or even where it is as its a new feature in the last few years but people are now starting to have problems with this feature and it stops the machine from spinning leaving the clothes soaking yet, so give it a try empty and see what happens
