It is due to the compatibility settings of Windows Vista. The Kodak software has been designed for use in Windows XP, when you try to install the software in Windows Vista there will be compatibility problem . First of all search for the software which has the Windows Vista support.
1. Install the w2k/xp driver using compatability mode for windows server service pack 1.
2. Click into control panel - Hardware and sound - Scanners and camera's - add device. Now select the Kodak and Model and Finish.
3. Click into control panel Device manager and plug in DVC325 Webcam, when detected right click and choose update driver (you'll find the driver automatically installs).
