Pull out the washer now get the outlet pipe as low as you can into a pan or bucket gravity will then let it drain if the water doesnt come out then the pump or hose is blocked easiest way then is to move it to the outside of the house and undo the sump hose that is in the middle of the drum at the bottom will be a black pipe about 2-5inch wide and about 5inch long but the water will come out very fast when doing this if the pipe is blocked then the easiest way to unblock is to get a swipping brush handle to push it out if the pump is blocked just undo it and u should be able to see what is blocking itif the water does flow out when the pipe is lowered to the floor then the pump will need replacing

Hi,
The easiest way to get the water out is to use another hose to siphon it out into a bucket...

Zanussi 1400 Front Loader: Machine washs clothes as per normal but does not drain the water and cannot go into the spin cycle. Sits there doing nothing then starts bleeping.

This is almost certainly a simple problem with your empty pump filter being clogged. The empty cycle is timed and if it can't get all the water out in time because the filter is blocked and slowing the empty down, then it will fail safe and won't step on to the final spin cycle with excess water in the drum. While it's trying to get the water evacuated, you will probably see the machine doing a slow tumble for up to 8 minutes and you may also hear the empty pump running too.

Washing machine won't pump out to go into spin cycle is there a strainer that needs cleaning

You need to locate and clean the filter. Depending on the model (not familiar which with the model you mention) there is probably a round filter cap on the front of the machine at the bottom (It may be behind a small door or hidden behind a clip on panel on the bottom) Many models of this design also have a small hose to the right of the filter cap that you can pull out, remove a plug from and drain off any water in the filter before you remove the filter and get your floor wet, so take a look for this before you remove the filter and get soaked.

Fills with water, drains, will not spin. sometimes will not fill

This is almost certainly the filter to the empty pump blocked. When you power up the machine, the first thing it does is make sure there is no water left over in the tub, if it can't evacuate any water it finds there, it won't go any further. Same on a spin, if after a set time the water hasn't emptied the empty cycle will stop but the spine cycle wont start because there is still water in the drum.

Locate and clean your empty pump filter.

My LG washing machine model-fuzzy logic WF-s6607tc, is not spinning

The filter for your empty pump is probably clogged. The machine can't drain the water in the alloted time because it is draining to slowly through the clogged filter. The machine won't start the spin cycle if all the water hasn't been evacuated. You will need to find and clean out your empty pump filter (Probably behind a little door at the bottom of the machine.

After wash cycle, tube will not drain water?

Probably a blocked empty pump filter. Spin won't kick in until all the water is evacuated. If there is a little left, the machine will do the slow turn cycle that it does just before spin starts but not start the spin cycle because of the water in the drum.

You need to locate the filter and clean it. That should fix your problem. Once this is done, remember to keep the filter clean every few months.

Daewoo DWCLD1013 washer & dryer The cycle keeps getting stuck on spin at around 10minutes, at which time it keeps going round and round with no actual fast spinning, until it stops about 20 minutes...

The cycle that the machine is stuck in is in fact the empty cycle, just before the spin kicks in. It is staying there because it has a problem evacuating all the water. The machine won't go into spin until all the water is gone and after a set time ( 20 minutes is unusually long, most machines stop after about 10,, but I'm not familiar with Daewoo), the attempt to empty is aborted and the machine stops.

Your problem therefore is either:

The filter for the empty pump is clogged with debris (far and away the most likely) you will need to locate and clean the filter

The EXIT to the drain is blocked, check the empty pipe is not blocked

The empty pump has failed (you would usually expect to hear the pump rumming, but it may not be a noise that you are familiar with).

First and second items are easy to fix, the 3rd is a pump replacement, which isn't that hard, but depends on your level of DIY skill

Spin cycle will not work on washing machine

The most likely cause is the drain pump is not allowing water to evacuate properly. Clean out the pump filter and try it. If all of the water is gone and the machine is empty .....see if it will spin then if not then the motor carbon brushes may need to be repalced. You will need technical assistance for this.Good luck
