I have been given a sony flat panel television model KZ32TSIE and have no remote and cannot get it to work. Help please. Can get power but am wondering if it may be stuck on sleep maybe? Should I try a all in one remote or should i send off for the correct remote and do you know where I can get an operating manual for it?

go e-bay and search for remotes for ( led , lcd , plasma ,crt ) make and model
read all the remotes listed and you will probably find a remote that will work with your tv without a lot a changes to be made

Most TVs have manual buttons on them for changing channels. My Sony TV has the buttons on the top of the TV screen.

Please replace batteries in remote and check.
Try another Sony tv remote or Sony dvd player remote that also has power, volume and channel up/ down buttons for Sony tv.
If no remote works on this tv then it would be bad remote sensor located on front of tv, its small circuit board that will be replaced to solve the issue and local tv repair shop will help you if you are not familiar with electronics stuff repair.

Send me the exact model number of your Sanyo TV and the sony remote control which you try to synchromize with it. Without it how can I post a solution to you. Send these by Fixya please. OK.

You may have a case of a bad signal board. The clue was that your power button on the tv and remote are the only ones functioning. If the tv is still under warraty, call the service number to get help!

Try a master reset on the TV. With the TV powered on, hold down the"UP" button on the remote control.. Then, while holding down the up button, press the power button on the TV (not the one on the remote). Please let me know if this works and be sure to rate the solution. Thanks!

Univeral remotes are not guaranteed to work with every model that is out there. Universal remotes also do not do all the functions of most of the TV sets.

There are just too many combinations and options out there for a unversal remote to be perfect.
