It's actually a DE error code which stands for drain error. Pull the
little basket out that's behind the small door on the lower left front
(where the drain hose is) and look inside. The drain pump intake is
about an inch in on the left. Make sure there's nothing in there like a
paperclip or hair pin. If possible reach in and see if you can turn the
impeller. If it won't move there's something in there if it will turn
then the motor is probably bad.
worked for me
got this from mark1963
It was actually NEC (apologies), I was able to fix as 'OE' means there is a problem with draining water, after manually draining water from wachine i removed the draining pump and pulled it apart a hair elastic was wrapped around turning mechanism of motor after removing that and putting back together the washing machine now works as good as new.

Bought this machine 2 weeks ago - LOVE IT - ran a load tonight - it stopped and beeped and I got an OE error message - when they delivered the washer they "forgot" the manual and I haven't received it yet. How do I fix this? Can't go without a washer,. Thanks.
