1994 Honda Accord EX - will not start.

1994 Honda Accord EX - driving car and upon excelerating up a hill heard a snap underneath car and then no power. Now will not start but turns over.

The timing belt may have snapped. remove the oil fill cap and have a friend crank the engine over.Make sure to keep your hands clear of the belts! Look into the valve cover, you should see some parts moving around.If you don't, the belt has broken. If you can see things moving inside it is still possible that a worn out belt has jumped,but diagnosing this will take some engine disassembly This engine is not usually a valve smasher so there is a good chance that you can get away with just replacing the timing belt

Possible timing belt, remove distributor cap and crank engine, if distributor rotor don't turn bad timing belt.
