The Ice Reservoir has a release botton at the back of the reservoir. The button must be pushed down at which time you can lift from the back and remove the ice reservoir. You can download the operating instructions for your machine here:
Unfortunately the Ice Melt Reservoir does not look to be a stocked part. I would recommend you contact the manufacturer directly to inquire whether this part can be made available. See their webform here:
When mine did that I just put in less ice the next time and I experimented to see how much liquid to add. Once I did the 2nd and 3rd batches of drinks I got the hang of it.
