Turn water off from the supply. There should be a valve that the 1/4" water line connects to, if not you will have to shut off the water main. Using a wrench remove the nut from the water line connection (usually a compression fitting. You will need a need compression sleeve with the new line x2, one for the valve and one for the fridge. Next disconnect the line from the back of the fridge. Run the new line the same way the old one was run, for easiness. Make sure you leave enough slack behind the refridgerator to allow it to be pulled out and cleaned behind. Once all connections are tight you can turn the water back on and ensure you don't have any leaks. Hope this helps.
