How do I get my Timex WR50M watch out of the 24 hour (military) time and back to a 12 hour clock?

Hi, How do I get my Timex WR50M watch out of the 24 hour (military) time and back to a 12 hour clock? It seems to have put itself into military time one day out of the blue, and I can't find a way to get it back. Thanks!

For a WR50M, just tap the set button. That cycles it between am/pm and 24 hour modes.

Hold down the adjust button bottom right then press the mode button top left you will notice the a or p that stands for am/pm will disappear & reappear. If you have an a or p on your display then you are out of military time.

This happened to me. I was pretty frustrated because I have bought many Timex watches and never had this issue. I stumbled onto the answer. Tap the set button and you should toggle between 12 hr and 24 hr settings. I did not find it at first bc I kept holding down the set button to find the option within the mode options as found in other Timex watches.

Question edited for clarity and toss in some CAPS.

Military Time is 24 hour Time, 00:00 to 23:99! It sounds like actually want 12 hour time, 12 hours of A.M. and 12 hours of P.M.

You just ask :>D

Say "Change to 24-Hour clock" or use the Alexa app.
  1. Open the Alexa app .
  2. Select Devices .
  3. Go to Echo & Alexa, or to All Devices.
  4. Select your Echo Dot with clock device. This opens device settings.
  5. Under General, select LED Display.
  6. Turn 24-Hour Clock on or off.

My timex indiglo Ironman triathlon watchhas twelve hours of military time and then twelve hours of regullar time. HOW CAN I GET RID OF THE MILITARY TIME AND GET ALL TWENTY FOUR HOURS OF REGULAR TIME???...

Actually all the hours are military time. They are the same for the first twelve hours of the day. If you go through the setting procedure it will ask you if you want "12" or "24" hour time. Select 12. "24" is military

How to change from military time back to regular time on a digital indigo watch with 4 adjustment buttons?

Thank you for contacting FixYa.<br /> <ol id="ecxintelliTxt"> <li id="ecxjsArticleStep1"> Press the "MODE" button---usually on the lower left side of the watch, but sometimes on the right center side---to cycle through to the time display.<br /></li> <li id="ecxjsArticleStep2"> Press and hold the "SET" button---usually on the right lower side of the watch---until the seconds flash.<br /></li> <li id="ecxjsArticleStep3"> Press "MODE" repeatedly to cycle through the displays that flash: from hours to minutes to month to date and day. At the end of the cycle is the hour display option. Make this option flash.<br /></li> <li id="ecxjsArticleStep4"> Press the "SPLIT/RESET" button below the face of the watch to change the hour display option to "24-hour display." This is the same as military time. If there is a "NEXT" button on the upper-right side of the watch, use this to advance to the 24-hour option instead of using the "SPLIT/RESET" button. You may need to press a "START/SPLIT" button instead a "SPLIT/RESET" button to cycle between 12- and 24-hour display. The "START/SPLIT" button could be located below the watch face or on the upper-right side of the watch, depending on the model.<br /></li> <li id="ecxjsArticleStep5"> Press the "SET" button again. You are now done. All PM hours should be displaying hours between 12 and 23.<br /></li></ol> Contact TIMEX for further assistance at:<br /> http://www.timex.com/info/Product_Instruction_Guides_Downloads

Time confusion

Possibly you can change it back by pushing the hour-setting button through a 24 hour cycle--you can see if you are on military time during the PM part of setting it. If it's on military, just keep pushing till you start over at 12 am again (hint: that's 0:00 in military.) At least, that's how it is on my watch.
