HI- Sorry-No good news here. Techs call this feature 'Self-Destruct'. On site diagnosis is required to determine what components are affected. Best case is a burned out door switch, worst case is a burned out control. Find a good tech to check it out. And avoid the self clean 'feature' unless you have an extended warranty. Too many people believe the salesman when he says; "Clean? Just touch this button!" Let me know if this explains what has happened, and if you need more info, just ask. Thanks-- Ed
Pay attention folks-- This is a common problem, but the solution is not. If the door won't unlock after 'self-clean', unplug for 5 mins. Plug back in and push 'clean'. After one minute hit 'cancel'. If lock motor still does not unlock door, then you will probably have to call service out. On site diagnostics is usually required and getting to door lock and switches is rarely easy. Please acknowledge this post if the info helps- have more if needed- Ed
