There is a thing called 'resting' heart rate..... Make sure you are rested 15 minutes before and between each testing.... ALSO make SURE that your arm is at heart level, this is the biggest mistake made, yes, even by nurses. You know when you go in and they use a knee to prop it up, that is just getting it as close to the heart as possible. NOW, lets address the 201/86, WOW!!! that is heartattack mode....... The 201 is your Systolic and the 86 the Diastolic, which is not bad, but that 201, OY VEY(yes I am Jewish)... PLEASE watch it, that is a huge concern to this nurse. Always check your BP using the SAME machine unless your numbers are WAY out of whack, then call the dr, you may have a serious issue..... please let me know if you need any more help, glad to assist!!!
