Keurig Special Edition that will not brew

I have a Keurig Special Edition that will not brew. The water tank is full, there is no clog in the needle, it appears to have hot water and the screen says ready to brew. When a cup is placed in and the lid is closed the cup size lights never blink. What is the deal?

B40 WR Keurig shooting out water instead of brewing

Turn off your brewer and use an unfolded paperclip to clean out the holes in the top needle

When my machine makes a cup of coffee it continues to drip water after the brew process - when you remove the K-Cup it dumps about an ounce of water.

There's a needle that punches a hole on the bottom of the K-cup. That needle is clogged. Poke it with a paper clip or a thinner wire to unclog it.

Hi,

Here is a tip that I wrote that will give you some things to try that will helpyou get your Keurig coffee brewer workingagain.

Keurig CoffeeBrewer not making a full cup of Coffee

1. It sometimes doesn't give me a full cup as per the setting. 2. It was hardly working and I descaled with vinegar - it worked while I cycled the vinegar through but then quit working entirely

If your brewer is not brewing the full amount selected, it may be caused by the following:

The exit needle is clogged by coffee grounds or cocoa mix. Please refer to the K-Cup Holder cleaning instructions.

The brewer may need to be de-scaled. Please refer to the de-scaling instructions.

The removable water reservoir was removed during brewing. Place the water reservoir back onto the brewer and perform a cleansing brew without a K-Cup.

First try to make a descale maybe repeat it the next day.

My keurig will not dispense right amt of water

Try brewing a cup without a K-cup in it on the largest cup button (will brew just hot water). This will help clean it out in the event it is clogged. If that doesn't work, completely remove the K-cup holder where the needles are (careful not to get **** ) by pushing up from the bottom and rinse using hot water, preferably with a sink sprayer if you have one. Sometimes the needle can get clogged, especially if you ever use the hot cocoa K-cups, so the manufacturer recommends brewing a "blank" cup of just hot water after each hot cocoa K-cup brewed. Hope that helps...Best of luck!

My Keurig B60, 1 month old is not brewing enough coffee

Check the needle inside the k-cup holder to ensure it isn't clogged. You can completely remove the k-cup holder and rinse it out using your kitchen sprayer to help loosen any debris stuck inside the needle. The needle is what punctures the k-cup and extracts the coffee from within the cup and can become clogged. Make sure when you replace the k-cup holder, that you align the arrows and snap the top or arrow-side in first. If simply rinsing your k-cup holder and needle don't do the trick, try inserting the end of a small paper clip into the needle to push out any remaining debris. This technique is actually recommended by the manufacturer, so it won't void any warranty or damage the needle. After replacing the k-cup holder back into the machine, try brewing a cup of coffee to see if it did the trick.

As a side-note, if you regularly use any "Hot Cocoa" k-cups, you need to make sure and immediately brew a cup of just hot water (no k-cup) to help clean it out and prevent the needles from clogging. The Hot Cocoa k-cups are notorious for clogging the needles up thus causing the problem you described above.

Hope that helps...best of luck!
