I've had an Acer Aspire 5520-5908 for close to two years now and I'm now experience problems with my touch pad. I'm highly aware that it's extremely sensitive (which leads to the cursor randomly jumping) and the solution to that is the "tapping" section under the Mouse tab in control panel. My problem is that "Tapping" seems to have somehow dissapeared on my computer entirely. Is there something I can download to get this back or something I'm missing?
Ok, im not sure how into the settings you have explored, but here is one way to enable the tapping again, select control panel, go to printers and other hardware, next select mouse, next select the last tab on the page that pops up, click settings, then you should see a page that shows settings for your installed device, i think the second option down should say "tapping" click the check box to enable... hope this helps!
