How to store games , saved games on a USB pendrive?

Hi!! I just brought an PS2 slimline & i aslo got to know a problem that the lens of the PS2 gets defected after 1year or 2. so i want know wheather a USB pendrive or a USB harddrive can be run on PS2 ? if any one has solution then he/she may send the solution at [email protected]

U can run ps2,psx,xbox games from pendrive
use dis software

Sorry assholes u just CANNOT DO Dat........Its been now over 8years since this fuking **** console arrived and still guys want a piece of this **** ??? Just think 8 years since its launch and there is not even one fuking working emulator for this entique console?? Why???? Hi.

This is a common problem with slimline PS2's.

The problem you have got is that the lens unit has failed so it can't read any disks. You will have to take the console to a repair store to have the lens unit replaced. The cost should be around $40 or £20.

My PS2 will play only some DVD movies fine. It does the same with PS2 games. Seems like they have removed something that the older, larger PS2s had that allowed them to read DVDs more deeply and play...
Hi there Mike,

The only possible reason for your problem, since your slimline ps2 is STILL reading them (but just a little slow sometimes), is because the lens could hardly read your discs due to dust build up. Try cleaning it using a disc cleaner and letting it spin for like 30 seconds. If this does not fix the issue, then you may have to MANUALLY clean the lens. Open the cover and once you see the lens, get a clean swab or qtip and damp it in an alcohol and gently wipe the lens in a circular manner. Then let it dry and try to play those discs again.

My PS2 Slimline goes black or freezes or skips during gameplay.
No you prolly dont have a warranty at all. I dont on my refurbished disk. As far as the game not playing it has to do something with the Cd. Alot of times the people that sell the disk send it through a certain kind of scanner and it erases or screws up the CD somehow. U might wanna take it back and get it replaced if its not to late.

the lens is what reads the games, you better find a gaming repair shop, they will have your situation sorted in minutes, cleaning the ps2 isnt childs play, i know a few people un-experienced and now their computers dont work anymore and had to buy new ones, dont be the next one, i hope this info was of any help

Slimline PS2 only plays PS1 Games and not PS2
Clean the LAsers Lens with Q-tip lightly dampened with Glass cleaner, then dry the lens. Try it see if that gets it going again.

If not your lasers lens and supporting frame is probably melting down. You will need a new laser.
Click on "repair directory" at the bottom of this screen. Then click on "Video Game consoles" Pick a good repair shop.

Problem reading dvd movies
You need to have your lens cleaned and or adjusted. i suggest you not try it because you can actually break it and or make it worse. My company will be more than happy to fix this problem. Thank you, connie
