It is not cooling in the refrigerator part it is warm like room temperatue. Also I can not get the light to work and the bulb has been changed.

Let the refrigerator cool for awhile without opening the door. 39 minutes should do. Then check to see if the bulb is warm or hot. If it is the door switch is bad and the light is staying on which will make the plastic expand and cracklel or tick. Hope this helps.

try a new thermostat ,a universal one will do the job providing it comes with a wiring diagram

Remove the light bulb for a day.
If the area gets cool with no light bulb you will have to repair/replace the light switch near the door.
If it is still warm you will have tp provide more information to find out what is causing the heat.

first of all are you talking about summer or winter, i dont know what state you live in. the weather and humidity play a big part on your unit,is your kitchen as warm as in is is winter,if not turn down the freezer control down ,turn on refrigator control 1/4 of the way.until you get both sides of the unit working at the right temperatue.you may have to adjust the settings a few times.using the freezer and refrigerator controls back and forth. also in the summer you can usually back down the controls to adjust in the temperatue change. no more frozen lettuce in your fridge,i hope.,,,,,,,,dave

change the control board, it gets bad from blowing out light bulbs,if you've had to replace bulbs and they don't come on and they buzz when replacing its definately the board part#4334000 appliance parts pros 1-877-477-7278

may be the light switch or try this unplug refrigerator on screw bulb look in the socket there is a flat side in it the center get a flat screw deiver pull it up a little put back bulb plug unit if it dont light change switch

Is the cooling fan working? (If not, then that's the problem).
Check that the intake grid for cooling is not blocked with dust and that it has adequate room to draw in air.

evidently the fan that runs in the freezer and blows air into the main fridge has a circuit issue or the fan is frozen, but if the bulb does not work then its a circuit issue. likely on the same circuit as fan.

make and model # was there frost on the evap.?
