Brushes change brushes in classixx 1200

  • clonman Mar 10, 2008

ok i changed the brushes, simple put the machine on it's side, take off the motor, (2 bolts). there are two little metal notches holding in the brush.bend them back to allow the brush to come out.
the brush is a little fiddly to put in as there is a spring involved, but only needs a little patience. ps this machine has done an average of nine washes per week for five years and nine months

F21 flashing on my bosch classixx 6 1200 express

F21 is a motor fault and in some cases can also involve a module fault. It could be as simple as the brushes need replacing or the drum has been severely out of balance.

Where are the carbon brushes on a bosch classixx 1200 express

Generally speaking, you might only expect to find carbon brushes in the motors used in some power tools. Household appliances use a different type of electric motor that does not use carbon brushes.

Bosch classixx 1200 fills, drains, but won't wash ?

This a classic example of worn brushes in the motor.
To check , remove rear panel, remove drive belt.
Unplug motor lead, undo 2 screws that secure motor, and lever motor back with a screwdriver or similar.
Keep hold of the motor as you lever it back.
You will find the brushes at the terminal end of the motor, replace if less than 4=5 mm in length.
Refit motor belt and motor plug.Test. before you refit panel
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

Bosch Classixx 1200 Express wont spin!!!! HELP

Make sure that all the water has drained from the washer, if it has a filter, remove and clean, it is located behind a removable plastic panel at the front of the m/c, if it still does not spin, suggest you remove motor and check the brushes for wear, this is often the reason it won't spin, but will wash o/k.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks

Brushes

I just did this and had to take the motor off because I couldn't get to one of the brushes. It was easy to get off (only 2 bolts) and just as easy to put back on. Taking the motor off made life much easier as fitting the brushes is fiddly.
