Is there a Windows 7 driver for the Belkin F5U109 adaptor?
Sure there is. This amazing tool driverupdate us will keep every single driver up to date like no other program (from personal experience). Take a look and enjoy
You can download the drivers from the following link

just scroll down to find the link to download
There are several variants of the F5U109. In my reading to get it working on my W7 system I came across references to units made by prolific, MCT and others, also sold under different brands (d-link, uniden, belkin) and of those using different chipsets (intel, philips...)
The proflic drivers can be found at prolifics website, the same goes for MCT. My unit is an MCT U232-d9 (I had to pull apart the case to be sure) and the latest driver at www.mct.com.tw supports windows 7, although nothing past OS10.3 and no intel on the mac side.
This guy solved it and it works with the F5U109/F5U409
