This indicates that you have a fault , unfortunately it does,nt tell which fault, as anything on your machine can cause this. The most common things are brushes in the motor , blocked or damaged pump, heater main selector or control module. The problem you have is that there are far too many possibilities to go through them, but check pump and motor first Good luck

How do I set my raintight intermatic timer

1) You posted under Intermatic T-100 series timer.
To set current time, lift and rotate dial until current time lines up with silver pointer.
For timer to operate, add on-off trippers to edge of dial at times you want Load to operate.

2) For information about wiring:
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-wire-T104-Intermatic-timer.html

3) Timer not working: If timer dial is not rotating or is not keeping time, order clock motor.
If dial operates, but trippers don't click lever, then order extra trippers.

How do you set the timer

You posted under mechanical outdoor timer with time dial located on face.
If you have different timer, add a comment.

Instructions:
Rotate dial clockwise until current time lines up with arrowhead located on inner dial.
There are segments or pins located around outer edge of dial.

If timer has segments.
Pull these segments outward, or leave them in place to set on-off times.
Pull out a few segments and then rotate dial clockwise to see if lights turn on or off with segments out.
Then pull out segments for the times you want timer to turn on-off.

If timer has pins.
Click pins outward, or leave them in place to set on-off times.
Click out a few pins and then rotate dial clockwise to see if lights turn on or off with pins out.
Then pull out pins for the times you want timer to turn on-off.

Some timers also have an override button located on inner dial or somewhere on body of timer.
Move this switch to TIMER or AUTO, depending on your timer

My dial keeps clicking round on my indesit wm12x, have ordered a new part, do you think this is the problem.

I doubt it will solve the problem, as the part you are referring to is a selector switch and not the timer, the problem is more likely to be a faulty control unit.

We have an AMF Paragon 4001 timer for the light outside our building. The light goes on lately at the wrong time. We want it to be on at 7:00pm and off and 5:00am but it goes on at 12:00 at noon.

To set paragon timer: Pull large round dial straight out towards you, then rotate dial until correct time is lined up with stationary 'pointer' on front of dial

Want to know how to set the timer intermatic

Following page has instructions and troubleshoot you might find valuable. Including photo of tripper installation.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Malibu-power-pack-stopped-working.html

To set ML series power pack that has analog dial, place trippers on dial at times you want timer to turn on-off. Dial has hours showing with dark background for nighttime. To set current time, rotate dial clockwise two revolutions and then line up current time with arrowhead located on inner dial. Manual override switch is round knob located upper left of dial.

Timer keeps clicking round all the time, does not stop

You need to replace your timer, it controls the wash cycle. Depending on make and model they are relatively easy to replace and not to terribly expensive.

Dial keeps rotating

This a common problem with Indesit washers..
It is not a timer but a programme selector switch.
What you need to do is the following.
Switch the m/c on, let the drain pump empty the water, then switch the m/c off.
set the selector switch to one of the black dots on the dial, which is stop/reset.
Then switch washer back on, if the dial still keeps going round and round, then you are going to have to call an engineer, as you have what is called an Anomaly (fault).
Plz leave feedback for this solution.
Thanks

INDESIT WI101

hiya
these machines will do this if the timer dial has been moved during a cycle, they have a memory chip on the main circuit board.

they also do this if the machine has a fault with the exception that they dont stop, the doorlock light flashes and the timer just keeps clicking.

try setting the timer to a dot on the settings then switching the power on, the doorlock light will flash a few times, turn off again select program then switch back on, machine should now be reset and work ok, if not then count the flashes of the doorlock light as this indicates a fault code.

hope this helps
