Make sure that you have unscrewed it as it will go anti-clockwise,
if you have, and it still will not come out, then there is probably stuck in the filter, and this will prevent it's removal
Try screwing it in, and then as you are unscrewing it, try to move the filter from side to side, keep doing this, and with a bit of luck it should come out.
At the worst, you may have to remove the complete pump, and clear it that way.

Where is the drain pump on the W6021? I turned the large plastic cap, but it will not come away from the machine. One other thing is the red pull wire inside the compartment, what is that for?

Hi there
Make sure you drain the last of the water out of the drum via the small hose behind the drain pump door. Then, unscrew the large filter. Often, once the filter has unscrewed, it is still tight to pull off. I used pliers to grip the handle and pull straight towards you. It WILL come out. The wire you see inside the compartment is an emergency door release if the electronic one fails. Never pull this wire until you've emptied the drum.

Good luck.

How do i remove a broken oil cap?

I will assume you tried pulling up on the cap as you turned slowly, the only other thing I can think of is drilling a small hole thru the side into the ratcheting mechanism and screw a small wood screw in. The small amount of plastic that might get into the oil system will be captured by the pump pick up screen or the oil filter.

I need to check the filter on a beko wm6143s. Where is it?

If you cannot remove the filter cap, do not pull or twist with pliers, this will only break it.

Instead, turn of power and water, pull the entire washing machine out and then tip it backwards at approximately 45 degrees or to the point where it is balanced.

Then undo the only visible screw behind the filter cover, slide entire lower cover to the right. this will reveal three screws, undo these and rotate the filter cap and pump body anticlockwise until the lugs line up with the gaps in the front panel. disconnect the wiring plug from the top then lower the pump below the chassis of the machine.

Remove the black hose on the left hand side by gripping the hose clamp with pliers and pushing off. The offending items (two hair grips and a shirt collar bone in my case) will be visible in the body of the pump, fully withdraw the filter cap to check for other debris.

Reassembly is the reverse of disassembly.

How do i open the filter as we have tried and it wont come out on our whirlpool AWM1203

I assume your talking about the drain filter. If you are you would open the small access panel located down the bottom of the unit and turn the filter to the left in counter clockwise direction. It is best to have a small pan and a shop vac in place to vacuum up the water that will come out of this area. Note sometimes when the filter is stuck you can use a screwdriver across the two tabs to turn the filter. If you have any further questions message me back. Thanks again Rick

Washing machine was not draining. unscrewed filter at bottom of front of machine. All water drained out but filter still screwed in. is supposed to be attatched or is it clogged with hair and should i pull...

It should pul lall the way out, there is probably nsomething stuck in the filter, you will have to persist in trying to pull it all the way out, make sure it is fully unscrewed anti-clockwise.

"OE" message

OE is actually DE - Drain Error. Pop open the little door on the bottom left of your washer, and unscrew the cap on the little tube on the left. ***Water will drain out!***
Once the water is out, unscrew the bigger tube on the right. This holds your drain filter. It is likely clogged, so clean it out and reinstall the filter and cap from the small hose.
Hopefully this fixes it!

Can't get drain pump cover to stop leaking!

Check to make sure the o-ring (if equipped with one) is still intact and not rolled or torn. Apply a thin film of petrolium jelly on the threads of the cap and tighten until snug. Carefully grip the handle with a pair of channel locks or pliers and give the cap another 1/4 turn and it should seal. If the cap has an open style handle, use a screwdriver to insert in the handle to give it the last turn to tighten. If you have questions, please let me know. I hope this helps.

Bosch WFL2060. Can't unscrew the cover to clean out blockage.

You do screw it to the left to undo it as much as you can, if it is stuck, then just keep gently pulling and trying to move it from side to side, screw it back in and out again, all the time moving it about as much as you can, hopefully you will eventually get it out to clean.
The fact that you are having trouble getting the filter out indicates that something is stuck in the pump filter, and this is what is holding it.
Just stick with it!!!
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks, and a merry xmas.
