They are usually an expanding plug. You push it to the hole and press the central pin. If you can grip it with pliers, you can pull it out. The other way is to use a nail punch and push the pin all the way through, pull out the support and retrieve the pin from the insulated cavity.
there is a motor with a flapper that opens and closes to keep your temp correct in the refrigerator side most likely the motor is bad and stuck open so your air from the freezer has constant flow to the refr side. the flapper is in the back of the refr behind a cover where the air flows in.
Hi, this problem is going to be with the running thermostat (cold Control). It has gone bad and stays open which in turn will keep the compressor running continually and will cause the fridge to get colder and freeze food. It can normally be located in the control panel inside the fridge (it is the control that has wires, the other is the damper). Locate the thermostat and replace it. As crazy as this sounds, turn the temp control a little warmer (counter clockwise). On this model, this control needs to switch to harvest the ice. A warmer setting should fix this issue.
