PIXMA MP470 Had a dell computer and PIXM MP 470 installed by the Geek Squad. The 470 works fine in the stand alone mode. It will print from my Word Wordprocessor; however, I can't get the scan function or copy function to work from my computer which has Vista software. I assume that my driver is not working right since when I search I find nothing showing MP Navigator EX or Twain or WIA etc. THE DRIVER THAT DISK THAT I HAVE IS MARKED PIXMA MP470 U1.2 So, is that the right driver or do you have one that will work with vista in a Dell INSPIRON - 530. Choose the Drivers and Downloads tab, select your OS and the then download the correct version. That usually takes care of it.
both of you need to do a complete over write restore and reprogram to recover the video card then install an older video driver program with the ability to lock out all updates. lala linda
