The most likely cause is shorted convergence chips and possibly a few pico fuses.

These sets need to have all three colors - RED - BLUE - GREEN - lined up correctly on the screen in order for the picture to look normal. This is called convergence.

those are bridge connectors they stay attached to the A board and release from the D board. Just slide a small screw driver under the bridge on the D board side and gently lift up they will pop right off.

Did you also check to make sure both pico fuse are good ?

sounds more like the convergence amp ICs STK392-040 you can get replacements here that comes with instalation instructions.

Go to the convergence and align the red and blue + - Under Menu then Picture then convergence to get to this screen- Hope it helps
