My machine is an Indicit WIDL 126s washer/dryer machine which is a few years old now. After a successful wash/dry cycle the machine died, all lights went off and nothing happens with pushing buttons etc.
I had this problem once before and remember fixing it without having to call a repair man, but can't for the life of me remember how. I have tried cleaning the filter, which was not blocked and not full of water (only a dribble), I have checked for kinks in the hose and found none, I have tried what i expected would be a master-reset and all to no avail.
I am sure it's not the fuse in the plug as when it is unplugged, plugged back in and the power turned on all the lights flash for an instant, then go dead again, leading me to deduce it is turning itself off due to some internal fail-safe, but against what I have no idea.
Could be mains filter . unplug from wall and remove top look at where the cable goes into machine are any of theses wire's burned . keep a note of were they go .

Hi gmarf....to reset your machine to cancel those symptoms, Unplug your machine from the Wall Outlet for a minimum of 1 minute. Upon restoring power, it should be reset and ready-to-go.....If you have any further questions or issues please update your post....good luck my friend
3 year old GE stackable washing machine, had water coming out the top and would not drain or go through cycle, when shut off it drained a little but when turned on again it filled up and over flowed.
recently the water would not drain from my indesit WIDL 126S machine, I have done all the obvious checks, everything looks as it should be. after doing a little research somethings pointed to the pump maybe being past its life span. so i have replaced it, and still its not working.
when machine is in cycle alams 2 and 4 flash, when drainage is required then machine stops what it is doing.
when machine is selected for drainage only, door locks and few minutes later door unlocks with water still in machine.
the machine is about 5 yrs old, is it time for a new one? or is there something else that may be worth checking?
I suggest checking the moister sensor and or cycling thermostat. the hi limit thermostat as well, with a meter for continuity. other wise you may have a bad timer
Hi. F13 indicates dryer fan motor or thermistor problem
If you can't hear the fan motor running on the dry cycle then it is probably faulty.
Hope this helps.
Please feedback.
Thanks
i agree - an absolutely crazy situation. however be wary about replacing the module. they can blow up because of a fault on another part like the motor short to earth
