I touched the wrong button on the remote and know tv says no signal and I can't get it back

Try going to your input button on your remote and see if you are still on the right input like if your tv is using a hdmi cable from your cable or satellite box then your input should be hdmi or hdmi 1 or hdmi 2 etc... also if you have cable or satellite make sure you didn't change the actual tv off of channel 3 or 4 whichever you have your cable or satellite box set on. I hope this helps.

I didnt have a picture so i started hitting buttons. Now I have HDMI Settings with two options showing and can'get rid of it

Have you tried using the "Menu" button or "Input" button on the left-hand side of the set to make a selection/change the current selection?
You may also want to try unplugging the set for at least 30 seconds to see if removing power will clear the frozen screen.
Finally, note that three of the four HDMI inputs have notes associated with them in the manual on page 3, the "Part Names" page. See the notes on the right-hand, bottom of the page; items 3, 4, and 5.

Hook up netflix

Get a Roku streamer. It had an HDMI out as well as a composite cable so it will even work on older tv's You'll need to have a fast internet connection and a wireless capable router.

No video input -- all ports -- for JVC LT-37X688

JVC may allow warranty exception or some accomodation for 15 days out. You have 2 seperate issues

1. White lines spreading is probably a video process problem. I think this TV has 3 Boards inside. Middle one is most likely suspect followed by the one on the Right

2. HDMI input not working is because they were turned OFF. JVC TV's have a sensor that will shut off the HDMI if the TV's back cover is removed. This must be reset in the Service Menu.

Gray spots on screen on a JVC HDILA model HD 56G 787

The gray spots are caused by dust on your lens, very easy to clean.

Power down the TV.

If you open the right side access panel (right side as you are looking at the front of the TV) you can see it in the middle, it's not very big. Using a scratch/lint free cloth, gently wipe off the lens or use a vacuum to **** up the dust being careful not to actually touch the lens.

Replace the access panel and enjoy your spot free screen.
