At what temperature should my fan kick on. I had a vector inverter 3000 watt and the fan ran all the time then it burnt out, I heard there was a problem with that model. So I got the new one peak performance 3000 watt model # PKCOAW. we have used it in 70' weather and the fan didn't kick on, I am wondering is this working or not. ordoes it kick on at a certain temperature ?
If working fine do not worry.
I can't answer your question but I strongly suggest you urgently contact the manufacturer or dealer in order to clarify this most important point as a 3kw inverter isn't cheap and shouldn't need replacing very often.

yes u got da inverter overloaded out puts r gone 2hot and fan couldnt cool it enough now this inverter basicly a amplifier amp does da same problem when da out put r blown yes i got da unswer

Ignore peak, that means nothing. RMS * 1.414 = peak. RMS is the actual usage you will get, thats all. Peak doesnt mean it will supply the peak wattage for a short period of time: salesmen with no electrionics training tell people this and its a big fat lie.
See what the unit is drawing, use a clamp-on ammeter on ONE lead (not both, or it will read 0). That shoudl tell you if your device is drawing too much. You should only be able to run that device UNDER the 800 Watts (watts = volts * amps, not including loss of efficiency which might be 10% or more, and even greater when warm)

Inverters use high power transistors to create an A/C voltage from a D/C input. These transistors are the common point of failure when the units are not cooled properly or used beyond their rated capacity. (Actually, you should always buy an inverter that’s rating for continuous use is well below what your actual need is). What’s most likely happened is that these have shorted out and need to be replaced. Unfortunately, replacement parts alone will likely cost nearly what a new unit costs.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news; but you basically have a nice paperweight with some pretty lights and fans on it.

your inverter needs to cool at all times , if the fan does not work,try buying a small standing fan to blow cool air to you machine, it is possible that your heater is making the inverter to over heat please avoid using the heater on the inverter
