Jan 6, 2008 - Author, Topic: Question about Fiber Optic Mitford Snowman ... This year, I replaced the bulb (found at a Christmas store) and it worked for ... some of the non-Keepsake ornaments so I went on a little Hallmark shopping spree!
you are going to run on windows 7 since hallmark card studio 8 needs systems configuration such as Windows XP or Vista, Pentium III 500 MHz, 600MB of hard disk space, 2GB for full install,16-bit color, and color printer. So have fine work!
I understand that most old xp programs wont work on Vista. You might call the mfg. to see if they have a diver that would work with Vista.
Or some kind of other fix. I dought that they Have. New printer with vista software is probably in your future.
try to go to msconfig and try to disable the error reporting services and then you wont get the error while starting the computer and also disable the startup services for the printer
If is doesnot work log on to http://techbuddies.org
It seems as if you may have a bad disk OR perhaps your RAM is not a full 512MB is the RAM new? or older you have the minimum system requirements, but if you go to this site: http://www.hallmarksoftware.com/products/Card_Studio_Deluxe_2009/sys_req.aspx (cut&paste intoy your browser) it links to the hallmark site that offers a disk exchange . see if that will help or not, another possible fix is to add additional RAM to your system so that you exceed the minimum system requirements
Solution: I called my DELL laptop company and THEY fixed it remotely. My video card (running Vista which is new to me) needed to be updated even thought my computer was not even a month old! Hallmark Card Studio 2008 Deluxe works fine now! Hurray!
