Try and check the water valve for proper operation.
then check and see if there is a kind of ice blocking the fill tube to the ice maker.
there maybe a reset button on the ice maker that just might reset the unitif nothing else is wrong then you need to replace the ice maker. there might be a cover on the front of the ice maker that you can remove and youmight be able to advance the ice maker manuallyby using a screwdrive to turn the gear clockwise just until it starts to turn on it own and see what happens if you can advance it by hand

theres a screw 1/4 in. along the right side underneath the icemaker itself, youll need to removeit and the cover its holding down. you can then slide the ice maker assy foward and out of machine,There will be another litle tab along loeft side uder ice maker youll need to depress to ppulll unit out. pry off the white cover from front of the ice maker assy itself and have a look at the main gear 2 in. round, is it broken off, or on its way top breaking( sometimes the tabs that hold it on to the ice maker module itself break preventing operation, if this is the case youll need to repalce the ice maker assy.

I know this sounds a bit droll, but you say without explanation, do you expect it to talk to you. You will probably find that the timer has packed up. check this out and replace if neccessary.

Hi, If your ice maker has stopped making ice then you need to check these things.
The lever that controls the ice maker has been pushed
up which turns it off. If you have a red lever, pull it down to the
wire and if you just have a wire then just pull down the wire to start
your ice maker up.
Make sure the freezer temperature is below 10 degrees
F If the freezer is too warm ice production will be poor because the
ice maker will not cycle properly.
The ice maker fill tube may have ice formed in it,
blocking it. Use a hair dryer to melt the ice. Watch out for the
plastic parts, so that you do not melt the plastic. Also check the
water inlet valve and the shut off valve, to make sure it is not
plugged with debris. The openings in those valves are very small.
Check the gears in the ice makers to see if they are
broken or stripped. Also look to see if the ice rake is broken. All
parts in the ice maker are replaceable individually, If you find broken
parts replace them.
Take care
