Will not chamber a pellet for Crossman 357 .177 cal pellet gun
Will not chamber a pellet. It looks like the pellets are not seating because of loose part 357-008. The pellet holder will not advance and does not seem to be seating appropriately to be advanced.

Any commercially available pellet will work. Some styles/weights/manufacturers shoot better in a particular gun than others. Impact points vary with aerodynamics/weight.
I experimented with different pellets to get the most accurate one.
Gamo makes a really good pellet.

It looks like you pull back the slide, drop in your pellet, hit the slide release and you are ready to fire, 400 FPS, single stroke pneumatic, Made in germany, recoiless, formerly the Marksman 2004, $50.
Go to www.airgundevelopment.com and scroll down to the link that says crossman valve. I used these pictures to get mine back together. It's not an exact science, but it sure does help.
