You either have a bad inverter board (most likely) or a bad control board. The fact that your unit seems to work OK would lean me towards the inverter board. Remove all the screws from the back. There are more than 2 doz. Be careful, don't force anything. Once the back is off identify the inverter board. You can get a new one from www.partstore.com Remove all plugs, mark if necessary. Remove old board, install new board, install connectors and reassemble unit. Your set should now be working. Let me know how this works out and whether you need any additional help.
