Hi. I've a washing machine rex electrolux logic RE7. I must change the belt but it seems too much hard for me because the belt is too much short but the new belt is the correct belt. how can do this in tjis kind of washing machine? thank in advance M Cristina

The bearing may have siezed or you have something jammed between the drum and outercasing

you need to access your drain pump and check it for an obstruction but when you pull the hose off keep in mind it might have a lot of water in it i usually use a shop vac and pull all the water out through the drain hose before removing the hose or opening the pump sorry i cant be more specific but ive never cleaned the pump on a hoover

i had a similar problem with a zanussi machine
a cheap bracelet got washed with some clothes and it found its way into the drum housing jamming the drum.

it may have been cheap to fix, but i just got rid of it cos it was 4 years old anyway

i now have a zanussi ZWF1231W just past its 1 wear warranty that has just died completely except for an "on indicator light"
the store inform me that i will have to pay the zanussi engineer a Euro 90 call out charge, plus labour costs, plus parts if needed.

im a little bit disappointed with zanussi to say the least

Electrolux India has very carefully hidden its service center number on its website. The only option you have is to drill-down to the local customer service center. Unfortunately the number given for Ms. Millenium Service Center for South Kolkata (033-24573470 / 24451120 ) doesn't work. I had to hunt down a certain executive to finally find the real phone number for booking complaint across India.


The Eletrolux India customer service number is (they have listed) 39404040.

Keep your model number, date of purchase and shop dealer name handy while making your call.

However after reading the posts - Your best option may be to have the part mailed to you from a different country!!

sounds like you have a bad transmission. can you lift the top up so you can see what it is doing when it is trying to spin. does it adgetate and spin at the same time? If yes you have a bad transmission. also if you get 2 people one looking inside of the drum and the other turning the big pulley in one direction it should turn the whole drum in the other the agetator should go back and forth. Tell me what happens thanks.
