You need a small mallet and pin, to hammer out the holding pin, the band has little arrows on the inside indicating direction, remove the one right next to the buckle so that watch keeps its normal appearance...
Most bands have removable links on the end of the band. You can tell because they have small holes on the side to remove the pins that hold them together. The links that don't have holes are not removable. This is standard on most metal bands.
It's very difficult. You have to take the decorative link covering off first, then continue with the actual stretch band by following these directions.
