you seem to have a switch issue on that door...it may be corroded and need just a cleaning ....you could replace switch ....first i would check to see if switch is getting power ...you do so using an ohm meter at switch ...
Hi, seems to be eletrical issue. Make sure if the battery works properly- check voltage. Weak battery can have correct voltage level when it is retiring, but when you e.g. push the starter, it quickly looses power.
If the battery is OK, it could also be a short circuit somewhere. You mentioned the carburetor cleaning- check if the heater unit cables on the carburetor are plugged correctly. Also, check fuse.
Also, you might have gotten a power surge, or a power spike. This can also occur without a lightning storm. Sometimes through your power eletric provider.
A power surge, or transient voltage, is an increase in voltage significantly above the designated level in a flow of electricity. In normal household and office wiring in the United States, the standard voltage is 120 volts. If the voltage rises above 120 volts, there is a problem.
Do you have the owner's manual? I would start by finding out where the fuses for the electrical system are located. Then you need to find out which one is the main power fuse and try replacing it. While you are looking at the fuse box, I would pull out and examine the other fuses, a little preventive medicine is cheap insurance down the road. If that doesn't work your ignition system may have a cut off function that needs to be reset. I hope that gives you a couple of ideas to work with.
could be a factory defective power supply...see if the wii power supply is made in china...alternative power adapters don´t have the quality of the original ones...does your eletrical home instalation is good ? Cause bad home eletrical terminals can cause overcharge or even a overvolt in a sensible power supply.
Good Luck!!!
Prayfully the fuse inside the tv took a little shock and broke ...if not that would leave the transformer or the board took a surge also but this would also depend on a little more details...
was the power surge damaged?
was tv plug damaged?
does the power surge still work (if it wasn't damage)
and not all power surges are power surges unless it specified of purchase most are like power surges but are only close to and a extended extention cord updated..
if the power surge is damaged or even still works then go have the fuse check and any further damage will also show up on the board it will have a burned part...
Mine did same thing within warranty. There is a motherboard problem in them that is cause by power surge during an eletrical storm. First try unplugging for 10 minutes and see if it resets. If that doesn't work, you need to have the motherboard replaced that runs the unit.
Repair man took the front off my unit and replaced entire motherboard. He stated that it was a known issue with that motherboard. I have had no problems since my motherboard was replaced 18 months ago.
