Why is it that restart itself when work is in process

There are several potential reasons why an embroidery machine might restart itself during operation. Here are a few possibilities:
  1. Overheating: If the machine gets too hot during operation, it might shut down to prevent damage. This could be due to a malfunctioning fan or other cooling system issue.
  2. Power supply problems: If the machine isn't getting consistent power from the outlet, it might shut down and restart. This could be due to a faulty outlet or power cord.
  3. Software or firmware issues: If the machine's software or firmware has bugs or glitches, it could cause the machine to restart. This could potentially be fixed by updating the software or firmware.
  4. Hardware problems: If there's a problem with the machine's hardware, it could cause the machine to restart. This could be due to a faulty component, loose connection, or other issue.
It's difficult to determine the exact cause without more information or inspecting the machine directly. You may want to consult the user manual or contact the manufacturer for troubleshooting tips, or consider taking the machine to a professional repair technician.

It keeps shutting itself off ?

When does it shut itself off? Is this happening time you press the power button and during the boot cycle it shuts off without completing the boot to windows? If it shuts down after you've worked on it for a while it could be that it is running hot. If you let it sit a while to cool off then press the power button, if it completes the boot cycle and allows you to work it is definitely running hot. Normally when they run hot if you immediately try to reboot, it will fail. If you let it cool off it will boot successfully. Computers run hot because of a fan not working, dust clogging the fan vents or the Thermal Paste around the CPU and Heat Sink has become hard or too thin to keep the unit cool. If it's not running hot you might have a power supply or motherboard issue. Try removing the power cord and press and hold the Power Button for 30 seconds to release any Static Buildup. Then plug the power cord back in and try to reboot.

Apple 20 in Imac G5 turn on for about 40 second and shut it down itself .. please help

Sounds like you need to reset your SMU and NVRAM:

To reset your SMU:
  1. Turn off the computer by choosing Shut Down from the Apple menu, or by holding the power button until the computer turns off.
  2. Unplug all cables from the computer, including the power cord.
  3. Wait 10 seconds.
  4. Plug in the power cord while simultaneously pressing and holding the power button on the back of the computer.
  5. Let go of the power button.
  6. Press the power button once more to start up your iMac.

To reset your NVRAM:

  1. Shut down the computer.
  2. Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
  3. Turn on the computer.
  4. Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
  5. Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
  6. Release the keys.
If those don't resolve the issue, your computer will probably need service. Good luck!

just remove the battery and the cord...this will get it to shut down for good..after that just get them back on and try again ..if it doesn't starts at all it is something with a power shock or a wrong shut down ...assuming that all its ok with the computer ...
if it still do not want to boot ..just open it up...locate the Bios battery ..and remove it for a few seconds...it will start after that if all is ok with it ..

Dell E521 blinks on and stays powered up but does not start start up sequence can't F12 or anything as it does not get that far

Just had similar problem with optiplex 755. Solved problem by resetting bios. Remove power cord. remove bios reset jumper. (check owners manual or dell website for the location) Dell says to remove for 5 seconds and replace to reset bios. I find this to be incorrect. I had to unplug cord remove jumper, plug cord in, restart, shut down, unplug cord replace jumper, reinsert power cord and restart. Had to change a few configs in bios based on computer configuration after restart. Hope it works for you. Seen same problem on optiplex 750 and 755 in last week.

Shuts off unxepecedly

First thought when this happens is an accumulation of dust in the heat sink inside the computer. If the computer cannot cool itself, then it will shutdown. This normally happens within a few minutes of powering up the computer.

Now if there is a power issues, if the battery is not charging properly, that could be another issue if it shuts down, especially if it is running on battery power.

Now, if it does not charge, then it could be the cord.

Rare, but not out of the question, the power jack where the power cord plugs into the laptop may be at fault.

Good luck
