Hello- I have a front loading whirlpool duet washer. I am not sure of the model number BUT.... it fills and begins its cycle and after awhile it starts to make a low grinding/crunching type noise. It completely stops working and starts a constant beeping noise while the front display flashes 02 then F. Any ideas as to what the problem may be?

You need to replace your washers fill valve. Its not sealing closed.

If the washer is filling in the off position, try unplugging the power cord. If the machine continues to fill, you will need to replace the water inlet valve. Here is a link to the part you need.

FH means there is no water getting in the washer. Make sure both fill valves are working by selecting first hot then cold if no cold. If one or the other is not working then replace fill valve( or clean if plugged)

have a Duet washer model 6GHW9100LW that make made a rapping noise during the spin cycle. It get louder as it spins faster.

it's probably the timer or a cold-water supply problem:

• It's the timer, if your washing machine fills with water and begins agitating, but the timer never advances--or if the washer is in a spin cycle and the timer won't advance. Then you need to replace the timer.

She is no longer having the problem - turned it on and it went through all the cycles - possibly a reset.
