I have the Ingersoll Rand Model # DD2T2, WAS WORKING GREAT, NOW IT HAS STOPED WAS THROWING BREAKER IN SWITCH BOX NOW IT HAS STOPED ALL TOGETHER, MOTER CAN BE TURMED BY HAND BUT WILL NOT RUN AT ALL.

If the motor turns by hand, but the breaker is tripping does not preclude a bad motor. Could be nothing more than a capacitor on the motor itself. If the breaker you speak of is on the unit itself, could be bad. If it is in the electric panel, motor capacitor is the first place to look.

Ingersoll rand compressor oil leak (Model DD2T2, 4.5 Gal.)

The brass fitting that goes into my DD2T2 seems to have a hole in it and it looks impossible to remove without ruining a major gasket due to the close tolerance in replacing the fitting. Am I missing something?
