Hello there, The calibration mode for a nordictrack is as follows.

With the safety key out, hold the stop and speed up arrow at the same time while inserting the key. Release the buttons. You will then be in diagnostics.
You then press the stop button one time.
If you are trying to calibrate the incline you just need to hit the incline up button and the machine will do an incline calibration. The unit should go all the way to the top and return to the bottom when completed.

If you need to calibrate the speed you will need to press and hold the speed up button on the console until the display reads 85. The machine should then be running at its maximum speed (either 10 or 12 mph depending on the unit)
The display will show a speed on the console and should be within .3 of the maximum speed.
If it is not then it will need to be adjusted using a potentiometer on the control pwb.
To access the control pwb open the hood cover. Should be 3 screws in the rear of the cover and 2 screws on the bottom of the unit.
Once inside the cover locate the control pwb. On the control pwb there will be a yellow/orange potentiometer. This is the adjusting part.
Use a non-metallic phillips head screw driver to adjust the potentiometer either clockwise for faster or counterclockwise for slower.
Hope this helps!
Good Luck! Tim

Question - what if the incline doesn't return all the way down to 0%. Mine goes up fully, but does not return down. You have great instruction on how to adjust the speed, what about incline?

Nordic Track T12 si , belt won't run

If the belt on your Nordic Track T12 si treadmill is not running even though the display and other functions appear to be working, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
  1. Check the safety key: Ensure that the safety key is properly inserted into the console. The treadmill will not operate if the safety key is not securely in place.
  2. Reset the treadmill: Turn off the treadmill and unplug it from the power source. Wait for a few minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on. This can help reset the treadmill's internal systems and may resolve any temporary issues.
  3. Calibrate the incline: If you recently used the incline function, it's possible that the calibration of the incline mechanism is off. Consult the user manual for instructions on how to calibrate the incline. This process may vary depending on the specific model of your treadmill.
  4. Check the motor and drive belt: Inspect the motor and drive belt for any signs of damage or wear. If the drive belt is loose or worn out, it may prevent the belt from moving properly. If necessary, consult the user manual or contact Nordic Track customer support for guidance on inspecting and adjusting the motor and drive belt.
  5. Lubricate the belt: Insufficient lubrication can cause the belt to stick or not move smoothly. Refer to the user manual for instructions on how to properly lubricate the treadmill belt. Use a silicone-based lubricant recommended by the manufacturer.
  6. Contact customer support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it is advisable to reach out to Nordic Track's customer support. Provide them with detailed information about the problem and any troubleshooting steps you have already taken. They will be able to offer further assistance, including potential repair options or guidance from a technician.

Nordic. Track incline won't work or calibrate

I have a NordicTrack C2155. Incline not working. There is a schematic inside. There are red, white, & black wires from the circuit board to the incline motor. Unplug the treadmill and have a licensed electrician construct a flying lead cord with a male spade on neutral and female spade plug on hot. Connect neutral to white and hot to where either red or black were connected. Plug in to see if the motor runs. Careful to remove power when the incline reaches its limit and reverse direction. If the motor runs in both directions, the motor is good. Follow the black two conductor wire to the circuit board and unplug from board. Check continuity across this switch. Run motor and this should toggle off and on. If all this checks out then the problem must be with the circuit board. On my treadmill, the schematic says that +5v should supply the sensor, but I only get +3.3v, which is TTL level. The drive motor sensor supply is +5v. The incline motor doesn't even show a sign of trying to run. Either the output transistor is burnt out or the low voltage caused an error so that it does not try to run the motor. Either way, I'm quite certain that a new controller board will remedy the problem.

Calibration

My name is Mike; I am a service technician for ICON Health & Fitness, the manufacture of the machine mentioned. While my comments on your problem are geared generally to assist, you are welcome to call our customer service line at 18009993756 for specific instructions if needed.
The first thing to do with any incline problems with a treadmill is run “calibration.” Calibration restores all settings (including the incline sensor in this case) to the factory specs. Instructions to run calibration on your individual machine are taped on the underside of the motor hood. See your manual for removal of the hood. While each machine has specific calibration instructions most new models made by ICON will have similar steps to doing it.
To calibrate the incline you will need to press and hold the Stop and Speed + buttons while inserting the safety key or magnet. Then let go of the buttons. This will enter calibration level 1 which lists some machine information and a console memory test. Press the Stop button 1 time. This will enter level 2 of calibration. To calibrate the incline you can press either incline buttons (either the up or down arrows) and your incline should go all the way up and then all the way down. If this works then take the safety key or magnet out; turn the power off, and unplug it for several minutes. (On a side not you will want to turn the power off and unplug your machine whenever you’re not using it.)
If this does not fix the problem then it can be more complicated depending on the model and motor involved. It can range from the console not sending a signal to a loose wire or jammed motor. If this didn’t fix the problem then I would recommend calling in for further assistance.
Sincerely,
Mike
