I have the unit connected to both the antenna and the dish. I can watch shows from the antenna while recording dish shows, but not the other way around. How do I connect the unit to have both capabilities?
Make sure the DVD has RF lead and Scart lead connected in and also BOTH connected out to the TV. When you record from TV use channel numbers, when you record from cable use AV channel, (on DVD). When watching TV use TV channels 1 to 5, when watching Cable use AV channel, (on TV).

It is highly unlikely. The unit unlikely has any inputs other than the coax cable coming from the satellite dish. This will is the same 75 ohm cable connection you see on your tv used with antennas or cable service, but the tuner in the satellite box only decodes satellite signals.
Sorry about your luck. I recall some manufactures such as LG making DVD recorders with hard drives inside them. Those units can capture any analog signal. Another idea is to get a TV tuner card for your computer.
The TV RF cable does the TV radio frequency from the antenna
so it comes from the antenna to the
EWH100F
then it is split so part of the rf goes to the ewh100f and the other part goes from the ewh100f to the TV antenna .
So when you want to record TV on the EWH100f it uses the antenna in rf signal via a built in tuner.
When you want to watch TV the ewh100f feeds part of the RF signal to the TV via its built in tuner.
If you want to watch TV via the ewh100f or watch DVD's or watch recorded shows you need to connect the AV out to the AV in and then switch the input source on the TV to AV.
If the cable is yellow (video)and the other two are red and white (audio) plug this into the same av in on tv.
looking at the back of your ewh100f it is the second last lot of sockets from the right hand side.
On the 625 receiver; the Dual mode allows you to record in one room and watch live TV in the other or watch live in one room and a recording in the other.
Hi my nameis Mike Houston of DISH Network and I see you can not watch recordings on TV2and you can't watch and record at the same time. The first thing you will wantto do is make sure the receiver is in Dual mode, I will send a link to helpwith these steps and if the problem still persist please e-mail me at [email protected]. http://www.dishnetwork.com/SupportSection/same-video-2-tvs
Does your recordings show when you press the DVR button on the remote? You stated that you are able to watch TV and change channels but not able to access your recordings. What is the model number of your receiver? Is it a DISH Network receiver? If it is DISH Network, try unplugging the receiver from the electrical outlet for 10 seconds and plug back in. This will cause the receiver to reboot and re-acquire the satellite signal. Please let me know if you still have problems.
Hello! Dan Busa here with DISH Network customer service. This is actually how your DVR is supposed to function. A 622 is a dual tuner reciever meaning it's capable of watching or recording two live shows at a time. When you record a show you tie up one tuner, there are two work arounds. You can get an additional dvr receiver or you can set up record preferences and have everything automatically record to tv2.
Check the back of the DVR to make sure BOTH cables from the dish are properly connected to the receiver. Make sure they are properly tightened. It sounds like one of them has come loose, because if the receiver only has one working cable coming in from the dish it can only do one thing at once- you can only record one show at a time with one cable. You can also go into the receiver's setup menu and run a system test, which will help you diagnose the issue.
