I'm pretty sure these dlp's don't have the flyback transformers mentioned. If you have no power make sure all of the wires are connected again. Does the unit appear 'dead' or is there any indication of response?

  • Anonymous Feb 25, 2010

You don't even get the green blinking timer light when you plug it in? I assume not, because you said the unit acts dead. I tore one of these apart last month on 4 different occasions, but we always had some sort of response. I'll look around the web and see if I can find anything helpful.

Tv wont power up after replacing 6 caps 4 bad 2 looked good but were in series so replaced with larger voltage. mitsubishi wd 62725

That model will usually have 8 caps that require replacement on the Power board and also 4 capacitors on the DM board which will usually cause the Non stop blinking light symptom.

Replaced caps on tv worked then I turned off and now green light is flashing non-stop again. What's wrong now ? Please help

You'll have to check your standby voltages and make sure they are present. If they are not then the power supply needs repaired or replaced. Caps, as they are going bad can fatigue a power supply.

Tv won't turn on?

Your main boards are bad. The FMT, DM, & Power Supply. They are no longer available, You have to have the chasis rebuilt. Mitsubishi is rebuilding these chasis. You have to pull it without any cut wires & ship to Georgia.

Blinking green timer light

I purchased my WD 62725 in January of 2005 and have had way too many problems with something costing this much.  My green reset button is now blinking and I have read and tried all of the suggested solutions. All of them have failed.  I sure think Mitsubishi should be held more responsible than they seem to be.  Some one suggested a class action lawsuit.  I would sure join one.  Jack P

Timer light blinking

Check C81A2, C81A3, C81B3 and C81B4 (1000 uFD, 16V, 105C) on the DM PCB.
Check C8F19, C8F21, C8F22 and C8F27 (1000 uFD, 16V, 105C) on the FMT PCB.
If any are bad, replace all of them with part # 181P734030 (680 uFD, 16V, 105C).
