your fixing motor has faulty rotation.
check main motor M2 , DC Controller PCB and image processor pcb

the code indicates the failure of fixing motor. there can be jamming in fixing unit, either one of te gears or the roller bearings may have jammed,or fixing motor failure.

open front cover, release developer lever at right,release feeder lever at down right corner,unscrew the centre screw at the top of the drum unit, slide out the drum unit, at the back of unit u will find a clear plastic cap remove it and empty the waste toner reverse all the process to place all togather.

I HAVE CANON IR 330S AND AM GETTING ERROR CODE E014. HOW CAN I SOLVE THIS PROBLEM?

You have a problem with our fuser assembly - located where you pull out the left printer door - it is the very hot assembly where the paper leaves the machine - it will either have a yellow or black felt cover. Only two screws hold this unit in - one at the back and one in the font. Take this unit out and look for trapped paper in the rollers that could also cause the fuser temperature readings to be incorrect. If you cannot find any paper, reset the code in service mode and turn the machine off/on. If the problem returns as you power on - you will need a new fuser unit. To clear the fuser error enter service mode as follows:

Press the head key (head shape with star inside) - 2 and 8 at the exact same time - then HEAD key again. You should now be in service mode. Now - COPIER - FUNCTON - CLEAR - ERR - OK. Then turn off the power and on again - this may cure your problem indefinetly or definetly. But even if you find paper in the fuser, you mUST perform the CLEAR procedure or the error code will not go away. Good luck.

it might just be a power spike in which case your machine just shot an error while it protected itself...

try the following...
press additional functions
press 2 and 8 at the same time
press additional function
press code error
press copier
press function
press clear
press error
press ok
press reset

if that doesn't work then call a tech... it might be very serious...

You have a problem with the fixing film. It is not a case that you have to reset the machine and carry on. Replace faulty parts in fixing and then clear the code. Most probably you have a damaged fixing film.

depednding on sorter im guessing its the small sorter with one tray the stapler is in the rear of the sorter green handle pull it out uses L 1 staples

It is very easy... What code is it? It may not be resetable with out replacing a part... Need more info...
