If you applied wrong patches you will have to uninstall Futura, reboot, install from the beginning the basic version and then apply an update 3.0.0.9
The driver is available on the futura support website. However, make sure you have the "CLEP" file on your computer because recent updates on windows had damaged this updates.
The CLEP files are on the old CDs.

FYI: I had the CE-100/Windows 7 problem. After many retries to re-install the program on my newly updated laptop, we found that when you download the patch and/or drivers so that your machine will work on Windows 7, you should check and make sure that the download installed to the correct folder. The download/installed program was on my 'C' drive in a folder that I set up for the Futura software download/install, but the update went to the 'C' Drive. Because the two were in two different locations the software never saw the update/new drivers/patches and would not function. After discovering the location problem, and moving everything (program, update and patches) to the Futura folder that I created, my machine worked fine. Hope this helps and saves some frayed nerves.
