Hello! Could you be so kind to clear the situation: I have this good Intel device - Intel D845PT Motherboard. Am I right that it hasn't USB 2.0, but USB 1.1 only?
Now the main question: is there any possibility to get USB 2.0 without changing the motherboard? I mean is it a program option (BIOS or INF update will help) or I need an additional USB controller? In case of latter variant will the motherboard work properly with this device?
Thank you in advance,

HI,
Yes, that board is only a 1.1 USB port. USB 2.0 can easily be added to a computer using a USB 2.0 PCI card. These cards are relatively cheap and they can be found in almost any computer store. You can even find USB 2.0 PCI cards at Walmart. The cards will typically have 3 - 5 ports on them. These ports are setup so that you will have to plug your USB devices into the back of the computer.
Good Luck

Hi Again,
I guess you posted your question twice, but just in case, here's the same solution:
