Do you use a DVD burning program or DVD copy program to convert ISO file to DVD? Normally, if you not, it is just data DVD and not a playable DVD disc for DVD player machine.
You can try to use some programs to copy ISO to DVD such as Leawo Blu-ray Copy or Windows Disc Image Burner.

'Standard' DVD players will not play computer video formats such as .AVI or .DIVX or .WMV or .MP4 whereas the 'generic' and cheaper (chinese) Players will support them (they will state that they support MPEG, DIVX and MPEG 3 & 4 formats).
Unless your ISO results in a properly DVD formatted media (with multiple files and file types including .DAT), it simply will not work.
Note that many 'standard' (and branded) DVD players will not support many rewritable CD or DVD.
Hope my information will help you assess your problem

You can try to use some programs to copy ISO to DVD such as Leawo Blu-ray Copy or Windows Disc Image Burner. Microsoft has included a default feature of burning ISO files to DVD disc.

I want to save my picture files on the cd or dvd tape but i cant transfer it.

You need a burning software to burn your picture files, music, or video.
You can use NERO Burning ROM. Download it from HERE. You can use the "Data Burning" Feature in it to transfer your files into CD or DVD.

Can i play Xvid files on my 622 dvd player? if not which kind of video files does it play?

Im assuming your talking about the Philips DVD 622. You cannot play any video files unless they are burned to a CD or DVD in the standard DVD format. It can play certain audio formats but cannot play different video formats.

DVD's burn but cannot be read/played

Check to make sure that the software is "finalizing", "closing" the disc or writing the "lead out". If the disc isn't finalized, then it won't read on other players, just usually other computers.

Did not burn dvd

The DW-100 burns files in the same format as they were originally recorded by your camcorder. The Canon Vixia HG-21 records in AVCHD--a high-definition format--which is completely different from standard-definition DVD and which is not compatible with regular DVD players (even though the disc itself is a standard DVD-R). As it states in the manual for the camcorder, "High-definition (AVCHD) discs created using the optional DW-100 DVD Burner can be played back only with AVCHD-compatible DVD players."

The DW-100 is really more for archiving your files in their native format than for creating standard DVDs that can be played on regular DVD players. Regular (standard-definition) DVD players can't play AVCHD, although many Blu-Ray players can. Unless you use a Blu-Ray player that supports AVCHD playback, there are two solutions to your problem:

1. If you want to keep your recordings high-def, you can view them by playing them back with the DW-100, which must be connected to your camcorder via the USB cable, then from your camcorder to your TV via an HDMI cable.

2. If you want to have standard DVDs that you can play on any DVD player, either import the files to your computer and convert them to standard-definition using video-editing software, then burn them to DVD with your computer's DVD burner, or connect the analog output (component=better, composite=good) to a stand-alone DVD recorder (i.e. not the DW-100).

I've used the route of Vixia HF-10 camcorder > composite output > Panasonic DMR-ES25S DVD recorder (about $65 used on eBay) with pretty good results when I've wanted to give videos to relatives who don't have Blu-Ray players. You just have to make sure to set the camcorder 's analog (composite) output to 480i so that it formats the picture in the right aspect ratio, or else the 16:9 image will be squeezed to 4:3 instead of letterboxed.

Hope this helps. Good luck.

Acer dvd problem

When you burn dvd's to play on DVD players dont burn them as Data dvd they will not play. When you burn the DVD movie try to burn it using a DVD player compatible profile and this depends on the application software you are using to burn the DVD.

Do the DVD play on your computer from DVD or even from the file on hard drive.

If it does not play from the file on hard drive then the file is corrupted on downloading or you dont have a proper dvd palying software like PowerDVD

If it plays from the software but does not play from the DVD on your computer, then it means your DVD burner softaware corrupts file information on burning. Try using a different burning software.

If it plays DVD on your computer but not on the DVD player then your DVD burning profile you selecting is not compatible with your player its possibly burning Data DVD.

check to see what format your computer burns on.[ex:dvd-r, dvd-rw,dvd-+r,dvd-+rw]different dvd players play certain dvd formats.the format for burning on your computer is probably different from the dvd players that aren't playing the disc.you also must finalize the burned disc.

Convert to playable dvd from .mov file

Usually .mov Files will work if you have a good DVD Burning Program, however the standard is .mpg or .avi. Most programs such as Roxio, Nero, and 3rd party DVD Authoring programs will use any file, but it will take a little longer because it has to convert the video, usually resulting a little quality loss.
