The battery is located inside the rotary switch on top of the eyepiece lens housing.
You have to grip the lower half of the switch with a few fingers of one hand and turn the cap off counter-clockwise with a coin inserted into the coin slot of the cap.
After you've replaced the battery (CR2032) put a very tiny amount of silicone grease on the O-ring on the cap, then replace the cap carefully avoiding cross threading the cap. You don't have to tighten it very much, just make sure the o-ring seats tightly.

I have a Bushnell banner lite site with a slide switch above the eyepiece housing, I only have two round caps covering MOA adjustment dials. removing the eyepiece yields nothing that i can see, Its fairly old, and i cant find anything posted on where to find my battery or how to replace it.
heres a pic
I found this looking since i have the same scope....just gently pry the rectangular switch up from the side.
and unfortunately, even with new batteries....mine won't work!
Sorry .. you might want to just send it in for service. For $10 they will repair it and ship it back to you. here's the link for their warranty info.http://www.bushnell.com/repairs

I believe your model takes an 3V lithium battery type 2032. Grasp the
battery cover and turn it counter clockwise until battery is exposed
small screw driver, gently pry the battery free, replace it and,
tighten the battery cover.
