Im having problem with the copies half comes out the image very dark the trailing is no image at all just black image on the paper, any suggestion that can help me. thanks in advance..
You need to check the drum unit for wear or the main charge assembly. If you are not mechanically inclined, just replace the drum unit and clean the transfer charge on the right side door.

If it is only causing an image problem when you copy and not when you print, then there is something wrong with the optics under the glass. Check and see if you have any mirrors out of place or if the scanner looks crooked. If you have the machine set up to scan try and scan to SMB or email to see if it still has the problem. If everything looks correct under the glass and scans to SMB and email look bad like the copies, you may have a bad CCD assembly, or a bad board.
dark copies you mean there is a dark background but image is still there? it is usually happens when all mirrors and **** glass becomes dirty. you should clean it well if you mean an image with pure black copy output, probably your exposure lamp is busted or the thermostat is open. :)
Sounds like a worn drum unit primarily the cleaning blade on the drum is failing. If you don't change it out soon the dirt escaping from the drum and dirty copies will foul-out you fixing unit, = more $$.
You may have to replace the lamp unit...but ... I would first make sure all connectors have been re-seated. Remove the main glass and make sure all ribbon/wire connectors are unplugged and re-inserted. (make sure copier is off). You could also remove the back cover of the copier and unplug/replug all connectors just to be sure. You never know !
