My lexicon mc 12 pre amp won't power on. The lead

There may be a secondary fuse inside the unit, if not the problem will be in the power transformer, if you are handy with a digital post back and I will give instructions on testing the transformer.

My computer won't turn on and when I plug it in the charging light won't come on

Please check the adpter output voltage with multimeter in DC mode.
If output voltage is good then check any contact problem of the power jack with laptop dc jack for proper contact.

Try to power on with only ac power supply by removing the battery.

Whats the polarity of lexicon ionix u22 audio adaptor? should i set plus or minus polarity on the adcd transformer/adaptor? thankx

Easy answer: You DON'T set the polarity because this particular device takes a 9 VAC at 2.1 amp adapter. (Not a DC one like so called universal ones)
It sounds like you have one of those universal adapters which probably would not deliver the 2.1 amps required even if the lexicon took DC. Note that stuff might light up, but the unit will not work using a DC adapter..

You had better get an official power supply for this unit as what you have will NOT work, period!

I did a quick search to try and find a link to a supplier, but they are RARE !!! Every one I found would require you changing the plug to match the Lexicon.

You should just order the correct one from Lexicon.

I can turn everything on but the belt does not move. I used it one morning and then that evening it would work

The single most cause of no motor output is failure of the DC motor control. Before you attempt to determine if it is the control, you must first rule out simple things.
1) Make sure you have power in the wall outlet by plugging in a lamp, etc. into the same outlet the treadmill is plugged into to test. Plug it in the exact same receptacle. Sometimes in an outlet one receptacle will work and the other won't.
2) Make sure any breakers are fuses that may have tripped or blown have been reset or replaced. Your local Radio Shack can help you test the fuses. Use the same type of fuse. Changing the value of the fuse can be dangerous or cause a fire.
3) Make sure the power switch is turned on and the safety key is inserted into the console if you have a safety key.
4) Look for any test lights on the power boards beneath the motor hood. Use caution when removing the motor hood because you may still have electricity in the motor area even if the treadmill is unplugged.
5) Test for a motor control failure. Typically if you have a failure, the treadmill will continue to turn on and operate normally until you try to input speed. If the treadmill operates on what we call a closed-loop system, it will give you some type of error message. If it operates on an open-loop system, the computer will run normally but the motor will not turn.
6) If you have a multimeter, you can test to make sure you have DC output from the controller spades. First make sure you have 120 VAC going in to the controller. On most controls, you can use a linear taper potentiometer or jump the W and H circuits of the control with an insulated wire or insulated pliers and apply AC voltage. The DC output spades should output DC voltage if the control is good.
7)
Cordless drill battery- get a fully-charged, 18 volt (preferred) cordless drill battery and on most treadmills connect the red and black motor leads to the battery (some have different colors but if you have two wires and get it hooked up backwards, the motor will just run backwards and won’t be harmed). If good, the motor should operate at about 1 MPH

Lexicon RV-8 wakupe failure

Did you try this....

In the event of a power outage, the RV-8 will display a BROWN
OUT!! PRESS STANDBY message. To turn the unit on, use the
STANDBY button. For more information, see “POWER
MANAGEMENT” on page 3-3....

POWER MANAGEMENT ON, OFF

"Setup" >> "Power Management"

Opens the POWER MANAGEMENT menu, which is used to automatically
put the RV-8 into standby mode during brownouts.
When set to ON, the RV-8 detects low voltage levels or a momentary
loss of power and puts the device in standby mode. In the event of a
power brown out, the RV-8 will display a BROWN OUT!! PRESS
STANDBY message. To turn the unit back on, use the front panel
STANDYBY button.

When set to OFF, the RV-8 will attempt to function during a
momentary power loss, however software settings may become
corrupt and need to be reset.
When the RV-8 is in standby mode, pressing the button turns the
unit on and activates all zones that were active in the previous
operating session.

The RV-8 does not power on.
1. Make sure the rear-panel power switch is set to the | (“on”)
position.
2. Attempt to power on the RV-8 with the front-panel Standby
button and remote control On button.
3. Examine the power cord to ensure a good connection between
the rear-panel AC input connector and the wall outlet.
4. Check the electrical circuit and breaker.
