That's normal, obviously you haven't cleaned out your dryer and vent line, nobody ever tells the customer when you buy your dryer that it should be cleaned out at least once a year so you don't have a fire more so if it's a gas dryer with an open flame inside the dryer, you gotta vac out the inside where the motor is,clean out the duct that the lint filter slides into and blow out the vent line,i use a leaf blower to clean out the vent line, take it off the back of the dryer, stick the leaf blower in the line if it's a long run if it runs through the wall and to the outside flapper and blow all the **** out of it,also if you have a shop vac put it on blow and blow off the motor, you won't believe how much lint comes off the motor even though it looks clean,so vac out the inside of dryer, clean out the lint filter duct and blow out the vent line

Where to find fuses. My dryer is not heating up.

Does your dryer have power? If yes, then check (1) the flow of air outside the house from your dryer tube and (2) your circuit breaker panel for each circuit in the house (I've not seen fuses/breakers built into dryers -- though that could change). Then check (3) your heating element, (4) thermostat, (5) high-temp thermal cutoff switch, and (6) for debris in the air flow path to / from from the centrifugal fan.

Kenmore 90 series electric dryer. Buzzez when you press the start. Sometimes it runs for a couple minutes then shuts off. is this the motor or a start capacitor?

Thermostat controls heat. There is also a motor centrifulgal switch, in the element circuit, that the motor closes to insure the motor is turning. Try another heat setting. There is more than one thermostat. You may have blown the 'thermal fuse' too, which requires replacement.

Tripped high limit. Must clean the lint filter and the exhaust vent tube and all the way in to the dryer. Hot air exit is restricted.

90 series dryer won't stay on

UNplug the dryer, pull it out from the wall, and remove the service panel. Use a flashlight and look around for signs of anything having burned, and smell around to see if you can identify what might be burning if you can not visually see any burning.

If you plug the unit back in while your back there, have someone start the dryer and see if you can see what might be the problem.

I am suspect the motor may be failing, but it's hard to see what's happening through these teeny-tiny little wires.

Reply back what you seeing and we can help you further.

My Kenmore 90 Series Dryer keeps overheating. I've cleaned out all lint I can find in the traps, the exhaust vent leading out, and even popped the bottom panel off cleaning that area out. Is the motor...

By overheating I presume you mean the high temperature fuse is tripping.
The two most common causes are poor air flow and a bad themostat. If there's a good flow of air coming out of the exhaust vent then it's likely the thermostat. Expect to pay $20-30 plus labor for a new one.

Check lint screen come on

Check the tubing the lint goes through (exhaust). This may be stopped up or clogged. There is a build up here of heat or something that is preventing proper air flow.
