I have downloaded the B2CAppSetup from the LG website as my new LG KU990i came without any software. The laptop still doesnt recognise the phone being connected through the usb port even though the phone is charging. I have tried three different ports and have been at this for the last three days.can you advise me?

try clicking the button on top right hand of screen (multitasking button) see if there are any menus open . pc suit wont connect if there are any open menus. so u will need to close any b4 tring to connect.

unlike nokia phones, Lg's a bit comlicated when it comes to PC suite operations, anyway it doesnt give options for the connections, as a external memory or USB mode. we can find it only by going through PC suite.
For copying, open the contents in PC suite and alternativley select all the files u want to copy and jus drag them directly to contents folders. even i faced the same problem when i tried to copy, paste the items, but dragging is working.

hey.. if u connect ur phone via usb, be sure that ur phone is in home screen, because if not, for example if you connect your phone and you're in your message menu then you will open some apps in your pc suite the message will appear saying 'Fail to connect to the mobile handset, Please check the COM port and connect in idle screen. Due to the multifunction, despite idle screen, it can be failed to connect' now try it by connecting the phone but in home screen mode.. gotcha buddy?? hope soo..

Do you have a memry card? If so then you can access that by going into settings, phone settings, connectivity, usb connection, andchanging it to mass storage.
