If paper remains inside the printer, slowly pull out the paper with both hands and close the cover. Press the printer's OK button to resolve the error. The printer ejects one blank sheet of paper and resumes printing from the next paper. The printer will not reprint the page that was printed when the cover is opened.

Solution
If one of the error codes listed in the table below is displayed on your printer, do the following:
SOURCE: error 1203
1. Press Power to turn your All-In-One off.
2. Unplug your All-In-One from the wall outlet.
3. Plug in your All-In-One.
4. Reinstall the cartridges.
If this does not resolve the problem, replace your cartridges to fix the problem.

Error 1203 is an issue that occurs either when a cartridge is bad or the printer cartridge Slot is bad...
1 - try cleaning the copper contacts of the both carts and cart slot in the printer and try again..
or
2 - when error shows up, shut the printers power off; wait one minute and turn it back on press copy
you may need to Reset Factory Defaults
